Let’s stamp out bullying

by Corey – 5th Dec 2024

Bullying is a bad thing and happens everywhere. 40% of young people were bullied in the last 12 months. 6% of all young people experience bullying daily*.

But what is bullying?

Bullying is can be described as unwanted behaviour from a person or group but together we can change and stop bullying. United we stand but divided we fall.

Hand with STOP BULLYING text

I am an anti bullying ambassador and my goal is to help stop bullying. I have been bullied for my weight but we need to speak up about it so we can sort it. 21% of children who experienced bullying daily had truanted in the last 12 months  – 3 times the proportion of those who were not bullied**.  As an anti-bullying ambassador in my school my role is to talk to people who are being bullied and help them to stop being bullied and if it doesn’t stop I talk to the pastoral team and they stop the bullying. After they talk to me I feel bad as it’s not right to get bullied and I know how it feels to be bullied but I want to give people a chance that I never had to stop the bullying. So I took on the role of an anti-bullying ambassador so people want to go to school and not isolate them selves and want to leave the house and hang out with their friends.

LETS STAND UP TO STOP BULLYING TOGETHER.
