Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service provide mental health support and a range of psychological therapies to help people who are struggling with anxiety and depression.

Youth in Mind

Support for young people from year 6 to age 25 who are struggling with their mental health due to the impact of very difficult, frightening or distressing experiences or trauma. All staff have personal experience of trauma. Available in person, online, by phone or WhatsApp.

Resist or manage the urge to self-harm

The Calm Harm app has been customised for young people in Leeds (aged 12 – 25 years).

It helps you resist or manage the urge to self-harm; it has a number of activities including breathing techniques to help reduce symptoms of stress and anxiety.

  • Trauma informed Counselling and Youth Worker-led Drop-in support for 11-25 year olds.
  • Counselling (inc bereavement counselling) offered Tuesday to Friday 3pm-6pm and Saturday 1pm-4pm.
  • Drop-in open Wednesday-Friday 3pm-6pm (last support session is 5:30pm and ends at 6pm). Just turn up

MindWell is the mental health website for adults in Leeds. It provides quick and easy access to information about services in the city, self-help tools & techniques to help manage common problems and help for what to do in a mental health emergency.
