Life Coaching Service

The Life Coaching Service are a team of skilled youth workers employed by Leeds City Council to provide personalised support to young people aged 13-18 years old.

The Life Coaching Service works with young people who are experiencing poor mental health and:

  • Family Breakdown – where there is a risk the young person may need to enter care
  • Disengagement from education – where the young person is likely to become NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training)

The service operates 7-days a week to ensure that young people receive support when they need it, even when other services may not be operating. We will work with young people on a one-to-one basis for a period of around 6 months, identifying goals and supporting the young people to achieve them.

We also deliver drop-in sessions across the city, which young people are welcome to come along to, to talk to a Life Coach and receive support – no appointment is necessary; see details below:
