Either yourself or your partner becoming pregnant can be a stressful and difficult time for both of you. If you’re feeling low, anxious or in need of a friend, there are lots of places that can support you below, including lots of specialist services.


Leeds Dads

Leeds Dads is an organisation run by volunteers for dads to come together for support and advice from fellow dads

Information on taking care of your wellbeing as a new mum and finding different forms of support in Leeds.

Together Women

… support women in lots of different ways, such as helping you to find employment, referring you to other services, providing counselling services or hosting a peer support group.

A weekly group run by Women’s Health Matters for women whose children are being looked after by someone else. This can be through adoption, foster care or any other kind of kinship or special guardianship order.

Leeds SANDS

Supports anyone affected by the death of a baby. The Leeds group is run by bereaved parents who understand the pain and grief of when a baby dies. The support they offer can be accessed via telephone and email, and through face to face support meetings and events with other bereaved families.
